This is a 3-day private tour to enjoy the unique Loire Valley’s landscapes hiding the most magnificent French Renaissance castles and gardens, charming medieval villages, beautiful vineyards and delicious restaurants all along the Loire, the river of the Kings. You will hear about the intimate secrets of the French Kings and Queens who once lived in these castles and enjoy their spectacular panoramic views and French style gardens as they did back then, always in a private visit.

We will have a stroll through the charming streets of the beautiful village of Chinon, the magnificent city of Tours and walk by the onetime home of Leonardo da Vinci, the charming village of Amboise and a lunch in the historical town of Saumur.

We will take the Loire Valley wine route and its vineyards, try some of the many appellations that live side by side (Vouvray, Bourgueil, Chinon, Saumur, Muscadet, etc.), depending on what wines you like to drink: whites, reds, roses or sparkling, so there is something for every taste.

I will customise for you an unique journey through the French Valley of the Kings, in a way that you will be travelling back in time visiting castles from imposing medieval fortresses to elegant French and Italian Renaissance style palaces.

Here is an example of the castles I will book private visits to. Castle of Langeais, Castle du Rivau, Castle of Villandry and its gardens, Castle of Chaumont sur Loire and its arty gardens, Castle of Clos Lucé,  Castle of Ussé, Castle of Azay-le-Rideau, depending on their availabilities and timetable.

I will bring you to my favorites spots for delicious French food and wine, to incredible places to stay and fantastic views to enjoy.

I will suggest meeting you at the city of Tours, which is just an hour and a half TGV train ride from Paris.
