I would customise a private tour for you to the vineyards of Sauternes worldly known for its sweet white wines which the French often pair with cheeses, chocolates and foie gras.

I will pick you up with my experienced driver from your hotel or cruise ship.

• We will start the tour with an hour private visit of a charming Grand Cru Classe chateau of Barsac appellation. This visit is combined with a tasting of exceptional quality and unique character white wines.

• We will travel through the beautiful vineyards on the way to the medieval village of Cadillac where we will have a stroll in the little Village-Bastide of the 13th century.

•We will stop for a panoramic view of the area heading to Sauternes, the most famous French appellation producing sweet wines, where we will have lunch in the restaurant "La Chapelle" of beautiful chateau Guiraud, Grand Cru Classe of Sauternes.

 

• After lunch an hour private visit of a beautiful chateau of Sauternes. You will discover its vineyards, vat room and cellar before tasting their delicious wines.

• Our journey could end with a relaxing tasting on a terrace or if you wish we could stop by la Maison des Vins of Cadillac where you can taste some local wines.

The tour will always include private visits of two charming and prestigious Grand Cru chateaux of the classification of 1855.
