Private Guided Tours with Galia

In addition to the tour, she treated us to a couple of local delicacies and made a lunch reservation for us at a wonderful local restaurant. Galia was a wonderful tour guide. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and very eager to find out what my husband and I wanted to especially do on this tour. We visited so many important sites with such history, which she explained. We had two samples of the city's specialties, which were delicious. She chose a delightful restaurant for lunch in the historical part of the city. Galia always goes above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. She even made two restaurant reservations ahead of our tour for dinner, which were absolutely delicious in these cozy settings. I guarantee that if you ask for Galia, you won't regret it. we highly recommend her, and I know you will too after your tour.

Galia was absolutely fantastic!!! My wife and I had such a great day with her in Bordeaux and in Pessac Leognan. The day was so well paced and organized, but most important, she is just a joy to be with. And when the tour was over, she gave us wonderful ideas and tips to get the most of our next few days in Medoc, Saint-Émilion and Dordogne. Thank you Galia!!!

My wife and I took the “Saint Emilion and its Famous Chateaux tour” with Galia on May 24, 2024. We traveled in a private car, driven by Greg. The day will always be a treasured memory for us as we enjoyed every minute of our tour and the time spent with her and her husband. Galia is very well versed in the area, thoughtful, compassionate, detail oriented and was determined to make our day special. She more than succeeded!!! Between visiting two chateaux, we had a fabulous lunch sitting on the back deck of the restaurant overlooking beautiful gardens. My wife was very touched, when at the end of the tour, they gave her a cookbook of local dishes printed in English as a birthday gift. We came away feeling as if we had just spent the day with lovely friends.

Galia picked us up at our hotel and it was an immediate connections between her
and my husband and me. She is amazing, very knowledgeable, friendly, easy to get along with and by lunch time, it felt like we were visiting with family rather than just a tour guide. Galia showed us the best chateau in the area and we had the pleasure of tasting some of the best wines of the regions. The entire day was magical!
I cant recommend Galia enough.

Galia was an absolutely delightful tour guide! She has a wealth of knowledge about Bordeaux, its history, and its wine-making industry. She took us on a wonderful walking tour of the city center, including the grand cathedral, and told us so many interesting facts about this beautiful place. After lunch, we were driven to a local winery for a tasting and tour. Most importantly, she took into account my requests and was always checking in to make sure I was doing ok throughout the day. We highly recommend Galia for your Bordeaux visit!

Galia's tour of three St. Emilion chateaux was wonderful. From the beginning, she worked diligently with us to ensure that we had a perfectly curated experience. She is extremely knowledgeable and, together with the chateau representatives she selects, imparts a seminar's worth of education in a day, in a very engaging and enjoyable way. Her expertise is not limited to "vines and wines"; she also brings a wealth of political and cultural history that brings context to the experience. And she's delightful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Galia! She took 6 of us all around the city and gave us great information, helping us to understand the history & people. We also enjoyed a lovely lunch at the food market where we had choices of many local dishes.

Galia was a wonderful guide! We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour and all of the stops along the way. We expressed interest in visiting a market to get food for our apartment and she was very helpful in taking us around and showing us exactly what we needed to know. Despite running over our scheduled time a bit due to weather delay. Even after our tour she sent us some additional recommendations for the remainder of our stay. 100% recommend her to anyone!

Galia is a fabulously knowledgeable tour guide. She knows the local history and is a wonderful storyteller. We asked her to take us off the beaten path and she did exactly that! We visited several vineyards and enjoyed private tastings. She arranged for a private lunch at a small winery which overlooked the most gorgeous scenery. And on top of everything else, Galia is a very warm, lovely person. My husband and I highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed!

"I want her to come with us everywhere we go," is what my sister said when our tour finished for the day. We had an incredible tour with Galia who was so helpful and flexible when we had to last minute change our tour to another date! Galia was a fantastic guide and went out of her way to please us. In preparation for our tour, Galia did considerable homework to tailor her tour to meet our specific needs. I am an architect and she customized our tour to visit as many sites as possible for contemporary architecture design by French architect Jean Nouvel. Truly a wonderful person and tour.
